Remote access

To gain access to resources only available through the OsloMet network from your personal computer you must connect to VPN. VPN offers you the same access as when using an OsloMet PC on campus.

1.1 VPN connection for Android and iOS for iPad and iPhone

Install an OpenVPN client you prefer to use.

VPN for Linux: Download OpenVPN Config-file.

On some Linux distributions, it may be necessary to add the following three lines in the configuration file:

script-security 2
up /etc/openvpn/update-resolv-conf
down /etc/openvpn/update-resolv-conf
