Who has to submit a certificate of good conduct?

In accordance with the Norwegian Act Relating to Universities and University Colleges, admission to certain study programmes requires a certificate of good conduct. This applies to study programmes where students in connection with compulsory practical/clinical training will work with clients, children in kindergartens, pupils etc.

At HiOA the conditions relating to certificate of good conduct apply to the following study programmes:

  • Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Child Care and Welfare
  • Drama and Theatre
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Teacher Training in Art and Design
  • Physiotherapy
  • Physiotherapy - Mensendieck
  • Teacher Education 1-7 grade
  • Athletic Sports, Outdoor Life and Health
  • Physical Education
  • Bilingual Specialist Teacher
  • Psychology with an Emphasis on Behavior Analysis
  • Prosthetics and Orthotics
  • Educational Theory and Practice
  • Paramedic Science
  • Radiography
  • Public Nutrition
  • Social Work
  • Nursing
  • Driving Instructor
  • Sign Language and Interpreting
  • Social Education
  • Vocational Teacher Education

From the autumn 2014 the requirement for a certificate of good conduct also applies to all master’s degree programmes and further education programmes that include practical clinical training under the auspices of the university college:

  • Advanced Programme in in Nurse Anaesthesia, Paediatric Nursing, Intensive Care Nursing, Theatre Nursing, Cardiac Nursing and Cancer Nursing
  • Advanced course in Mental Health Care
  • Further Education in Radiotherapy
  • Public Health Nursing Education
  • Master's Programme in Midwifery
  • Master’s Programme in Nurse Anaesthesia
  • Master's Programme in Paediatric Nursing
  • Master’s Programme in Intensive Care Nursing

Summer / off-term in july 2018:
The Kjeller Campus will be closed for students during summer. All students at OsloMet are wellcome to use our reading rooms in Pilestredet/Oslo, see above. Pilestredet 32, 35 and 48 have the widest choise of rooms and services, including libraries. Remember to bring your access card and the 4-digit code.
