Printing problems

Printer out of work? Contact the nearest reception or an employee. Read these tips before you seek further help.

1. I can not find "Pullprint" when I select a printer

All computers for students at HiOA have Pullprint installed (see exceptions below). If you find a computer without Pullprint installed, try to log off and then on again.

If you are in computer labs with older computers without Pullprint installed, you must select one of the printers in these two computer labs:

  • \\PUSH-P48-S154 - (Open 24 hours Pilestredet 48).
  • \\PUSH-P50-L232 - (Room L232 Pilestredet 50).

If this do not help, contact ICT helpdesk at the learning centres.

2. Empty toner / ink

If a printer is out of toner / ink you need to ask for help (see contact info).

3. Out of paper

If a printer is out of paper, you must ask for help (see contact info).

It is the responsibility of the Faculty/unit to make sure that paper for printers are available.

4. Reserved quota status

If your printing quota partially or fully has the status «reserved», please contact ICT User Support (see contact info).

This error may occur when a printing / copy job is interrupted due to an error. The total amount will be reserved until you contact ICT User Support who will release the amount.

5. 'Credit too low’ when scanning a document?

The printing quota must be above zero – 0 – for you to be able to scan documents.

Refill print quota and try again.
